Can dogs have a small amount of decaffinated coffee in there cookiesdog training

I know caffeen is bad for dogs, but my dog loves the smell of coffee. She goes nuts when I come home with a cup of Dunkin!! I was wondering if it would be a problem if I baked her some plain dog cookies using a cup or so of decaffinated coffee in place of water? I guess the overall amount would be on cup of decaffinated coffee split up amongst 40 - 50 cookies. Thanks!

I cant see how it would harm, other than increasing her likely hood of stealing your coffee..
dogs love cookies made with carob, and it is cheap, and so good for them too..You will find it in the health section of the grocers..

Only if theyve finished all there cake.
It depends on the process used to decaffinate the coffee. Some proceses use water; other processes use chemicals (which can give humans sensitive to it headaches, stomach aches, and other discomforts.)

Be careful what you use in the cookies. The type of flour is important; dont use honey (it can contain bacteria dogs cant digest), etc. Find dog-safe recipes on-line before cooking up anything for your pooch.
Dogs are not supposed to eat people food it is not good for them.
